Alex
Tripoli
I started my professional life in national politics and international business, and transitioned to the mental health field in 2015 to create change on a more personal level. I received my Masters in Social Work from USC in 2017, and since then I have worked in the nonprofit space in addition to maintaining my own private therapy practice. Providing mental health services to the unhoused at St. Joseph Center and Covenant House has taught me the vital importance of recognizing each individual’s unique story and coming from a place of compassion rather than assigning labels.
I offer individual therapy to people who are experiencing depression, anxiety, panic symptoms, and grief as a result of major life transitions, professional impasses (especially in the entertainment industry), relationship issues, family trauma, and loss of loved ones. Finding stability in an unstable world is exhausting; especially here in Los Angeles. I use mindfulness techniques, as well as tenets of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy, Seeking Safety, Problem Solving Therapy and emotional processing to tailor a unique therapeutic approach to you.
