We all need to be seen and witnessed. Whatever it is that feels too hard—be it exploring identity, navigating attachment wounds, combating intrusive thoughts, or processing the collective grief under capitalism in the world—one of the greatest gifts you can give to yourself is dedicated time just for you and your needs. I would be honored to walk with you on your path.

For me, therapy is relational. The human on the other side of the room (or screen) should feel like precisely that: a human! Together, we will create a container in which you can authentically examine your relationships with others as well as the pivotal relationship to self. My approach is to do this in a way that embodies a lot of laughter and creativity, building vulnerability between us to explore the innate heaviness that comes with being alive.

My approach involves seeing you as a whole person while valuing intersectionality. My clinical background includes working with children, teens, and adults across race, gender, and sexuality. I am passionate about committing to trauma-informed practice, dismantling white supremacy, uplifting disability justice, neurodiversity, and body neutrality while envisioning a future of mutual aid and collective care.

Specialties

I specialize in working with clients of all ages in the LGBTQ+ community from a sex- and kink-positive lens through relational psychodynamics. Particularly, supporting transgender and non-binary clients and their families through navigating the often confusing and emotional rollercoaster of social, mental, and medical transitional existence continues to bring me the most joy. I also hold a robust framework for those practicing non-monogamy or polyamory, as well as identity and community around asexuality. I also feel passionate about supporting autistic and/or neurodivergent clients.

Group therapy is a particular focus of mine. I’ve seen firsthand the transformative power of folks witnessing one another in raw emotion. This is why I co-created the first support/process group for trans, non-binary, and gender-non-conforming young adults at Colors Youth Counseling Services during my training, and went on to co-facilitate separate support groups at Brave Trails Queer Therapy for LGBTQ youth and their caregivers. I currently facilitate a virtual LGBTQ process group of adults located in California of all genders.
