I help those outside conventional norms—neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, trauma survivors, misfits—cultivate safety, understand their strengths and resilience, and embrace authenticity. The stress of being marginalized or of simply feeling that you don’t belong is painful, and can easily lead to depression, anxiety, burnout, and identity confusion. I love working with people who have realized something has to give, that it’s time to figure out who they truly are and how to shape their lives to fit them. My approach is client-centered, which means that I believe that the therapeutic relationship between a counselor and client is one of the most important aspects of healing. As a person who identifies as queer and neurodivergent, I know first-hand how stressful it can be to find a therapist who understands you.

Specialties

I use a mix of approaches depending on what works for you as an individual. These ideas and interventions generally come from compassion-focused, intersectional feminist, existential, and narrative therapies, and incorporate concepts from parts work, polyvagal theory, attachment, and mindfulness. I also use Brainspotting, which is a brain-body therapy that can help process trauma.

Insurances

I do not accept insurance at this time.
